Holly has been a mental health therapist in southwest Missouri since 2011. She attended Central Methodist University to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2008. She earned a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2010. Holly has experience working in a community agency, a university health and wellness center, the public school setting, and in private practice. Holly has worked with individuals, families, and facilitated group therapies.

In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, Holly is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and a Professional Member of the American Association of Nutrition Consultants. Holly works with her clients using an integrative and whole health approach to mental health. Understanding the connection between our mind and body is the first step in making positive changes in our mental, emotional, and physical health. Holly incorporates relaxation strategies, mindfulness training, and stress management techniques. Holly can also assist individuals in understanding what foods contribute to mental and emotional health, as well as, individuals interested in working toward a whole foods lifestyle.

Since Holly was ten years old she knew she wanted to work in the mental health field. This was when she first learned about personality, the mind, and the effects our choices can have on ourselves and on others. Holly finds privilege in witnessing others progress through self-identification and self-discovery. Through a strengths based approach, Holly hopes to help others live a life of fulfillment and of mental well-being.

Holly has worked with individuals throughout the entire life span – from children, to adolescents, to adults, and senior adults. She has experience in working with mood disorders, including stress, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. Holly has experience working with individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder and survivors of abuse. Holly also has experience in working with athletes (individual and team) who are aiming to increase awareness and mindfulness to enhance their athletic performance.

Holly has been an athlete for her entire life and played collegiate and semi-professional basketball. She loves reading, practicing yoga, Table Rock Lake, and spending time with family and friends.
